How do I get inquiries removed from my credit report? Also how do I find out why these companies are looking t?

Equifax is the main credit reporting agency to the credit unions I am with and they are report derogatory information about me which prevents me from getting low intrest credit cards and personal loans.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

    equifax will not remove information unless it is fake. file a dispute with them if the info is fake. they don’t care if it is derogatory or not.

    Inquiries are either “hard” or “soft.” Soft inquires are routine mass prescreenings for credit card offers or routine checks by existing creditors. Those do not hurt your credit record and are not “derogatory.” “Hard” inquiries are applications for new credit that you make.

    You management of current and past credit is what affects you “from getting low interest credit cards and personal loans.”
